Peter Leabourne aka Peter Bailey

Peter Leabourne died peacefully, without pain and with dignity in the evening of Thursday 22nd of February 2007 at the Martlets Hospice in Hove. He had arrived there that day after spending his last happy days with close friends in the country.

His funeral was held on Tuesday the 6th of March 2007 at 12 noon at the Downs Crematorium Upper Chapel Brighton. Several hundred people were in attendance.

After the service there was an extraordinary reception at The Lord Nelson public house on Trafalgar Street Brighton from 2.00pm with buffet at 2.30.

Donations were made instead of flowers to the Martlets Hospice or MacMillan Nurses who helped Peter at such an important time.

Many thanks to everybody who provided pictures. There were around 140 pictures on the day with other late arrivals being displayed on the wall at the venue.
